Online Payments

Welcome to Online Bill Pay! Kearns Improvement District has contracted with Billing Document Specialists (BDS) to offer customers the option of paying bills online. This service is free to the customers of Kearns Improvement District. It's secure and easy to use. You can pay with a Visa Card, MasterCard, or check.

Please read the following carefully before submitting your online payment.

In order to submit an online payment, you must read and agree to the following terms:

Billing Document Specialists (BDS) is not a branch, office or department of Kearns Improvement District. Billing Document Specialists (BDS) is a third party vendor, operating as a Service Bureau on behalf of Kearns Improvement District.

Billing Document Specialists (BDS) will provide credit card and check transaction services on behalf of those wishing to pay bills using a credit card or electronic check.

Any information submitted online to Billing Document Specialists (BDS) (i.e.: personal data, credit card and checking account information) is processed by Billing Document Specialists (BDS) and is not subject to protection by Kearns Improvement District. The security of your personal information is provided by Billing Document Specialists (BDS).

The customer needs to know the exact amount of the payment required by Kearns Improvement District and assumes all liability to insure that all credit card and/or check transactions cover this exact amount. Any errors or discrepancies in the credit card and/or checking account information submitted to Billing Document Specialists (BDS) will be the customer’s responsibility.

Kearns Improvement District receives the payment, transaction date, and an account number from Billing Document Specialists (BDS). Any discrepancies in the amount charged to the account holder’s credit card and/or checking account must be resolved between the account holder and the account holder’s financial institution.

Kearns Improvement District cannot verify the accuracy of transactions or if they are completed until payment has been received from Billing Document Specialists (BDS). There will be a $20.00 return check charge for all electronic check payments not honored by customer’s financial institution.

When making your payment, please be careful to avoid duplicate payments or overpayments.  Refunds may not be available or may take 5-8 business days to go through the approval process.

When paying your bill online, please make payment at least two banking business days before the due date to avoid late fees. It may take 2-3 banking business days for bank processing and posting to your account.

If your account is delinquent, you have received a shut-off notice, or if you are currently disconnected, DO NOT pay your bill online; please stop by our office at 5350 W. 5400 S. or call (801) 968-1011.
